Connectivity specialist Netgear brings news to CES 2022 in the form of the Nighthawk RAXE300 router . A device with which it intends to boost its wireless catalog with the brand new WiFi 6E protocol .
Nighthawk RAXE300, advanced technology for better connectivity
Netgear expands its wireless networking device offering with the Nighthawk RAXE300 . A tri-band model designed to radically optimize domestic connections. This new reference promises high speed and to eliminate saturation and interference problems.
Thanks to this new router , combined speeds of up to 7.8 Gbps can be enjoyed , with technology that takes advantage of the 6 GHz band . This model of the Nighthawk family has a tremendously futuristic appearance, with dimensions of 346.5 x 207.9 x 164.3 mm and 1.01 kg of weight.
The winged design of the device hides inside six antennas capable of maintaining eight simultaneous connection lines : two in the 6 GHz band ; four in the 5 GHz band and two more in the 2.4 GHz band . The manufacturer guarantees a signal coverage of up to 240 square meters .

The connector area, located at the rear of the device, includes a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port and five Gigabit Ethernet ports . Thus, the connection of wired devices to the home LAN is ideally solved . Note that a pair of these ports can be joined in an aggregated 2 Gbps connection , which is useful if some equipment with higher transmission capacity is connected, for example, a NAS or local streaming content server .
The device offers a number of extra functionalities.
