The XMG NEO are a range of new laptops gaming that animate the market by incorporating panels 2K with high refresh rate. The German manufacturer thus incorporates to its family of high-performance devices some screens that give a lot of play.

XMG NEO, for gaming and much more

The brand XMG, stamp where the German company schenker develops your laptops and desktops gaming from high performance, has announced the launch of its first portable panel computers WQHD / 1440p / 2K at 165 Hz. Two models with names as explanatory as XMG NEO 15 Y XMG NEO 17.

Notebook Features

XMG includes variants of these kits with displays resolution Full HD from 1920 x 1080 pixels to 240 Hz. At XMG NEO 15 with screen 15.6 ″ the user finds a device that measures 359.8 x 243 x 23 mm Y 2.1 kg of weight. The model XMG NEO 17, with panel 17.3 inch, has dimensions of 395.7 x 260.8 x 27.45 mm and weighs 2.5 kg.



Whatever screen size chosen, the machines move with a processor Intel Core i7-10870H from 8 cores and 16 wires at 2.20 GHz frequencies, maximum 5.00 GHz. These computers use the thermal compound Cool Laboratoy Liquid Ultra.

Teams start with 16 GB from memory DDR4 RAM to 2933 MHz, and can handle up to 64GB. Storage is covered with a 1 TB NVMe SSD capacity. Finally in the graphic section you have to choose between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER wave GeForce RTX 2070 Refresh. Both GPUs are in version MAX-P with 115 W of consumption.


The cooling system of these extreme notebooks features a couple of 80mm fans, each one with 53 aluminum fins. The system is completed with radiators Y heatpipes from copper. The touch gaming aesthetic is provided by a RGB keyboard, which also brings its benefits into play thanks to the response time of 2 ms and the 2 mm activation travel. Computer connectivity includes WIFi 802.11ax Y Bluetooth 5.0. Finally, the energy is extracted from a battery of 94 Whr at NEO 15; 62.32 Whr the model XMG NEO 17.
