MSI RTX 40 lands with a whole army of references that covers the different options with 4080 and 4090 models . A series of cards will arrive on the market in the Suprim , Gaming Trio and Ventus ranges .
MSI RTX 40, high-end graphics at three levels
The MSI company has not been slow to present its custom models of the RTX 40 graphics cards after the announcement of NVIDIA . As one of the main partners of the graphic multinational, it will launch a large variety of personalized models of the brand new Ada Lovelace . The forecast is that they will reach the players during the months of October and November . Let’s see ranges and references.
As a TOP series , SUPRIM charts have the TRI FROZR 3S cooling system , the company’s most advanced. It consists of TORX FAN 5.0 fans ; up to 10 Core Pipes ; and Airflow Control fins with new Wave-curved 3.0 edges and front fins. The RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 16G models ( 3.75 slot thickness ) have a vapor chamber ; while the RTX 4080 12G ( 3.5 -slot thickness ) features a blunt nickel – plated copper baseplate .
This range includes Mystic Light RGB lighting and Dual BIOS . An RTX 4090 with liquid cooling in a closed system is also released. It sports two 120mm Silent Gale P12 fans above the radiator, and one TORX 5.0 fan on the card.
The GAMING TRIO series is updated with a new style, offering balance between performance, cooling and noise. They have TORX 5.0 fans and a Tri Frozr 3 cooling system . The GPUs have dual BIOS . The MSI signature indicates that these RTX 4090 have a thickness of 3.75 slots and the RTX 4080 , 3.25 and 3 slots respectively.
The entry series are the VENTUS , with a more adjusted price and more sober design. They use three TORX 4.0 fans ; have brushed aluminum backplate for reinforcement; and a strong aesthetic but without RGB . Two VENTUS 3X models based on RTX 4080 are offered , with a thickness of 3 and 2.5 slots each.
