The new range of Raijintek ERMIS fonts have been designed in a compact format optimized for small equipment assemblies. The manufacturer initially presents a couple of models, with the intention of covering the most common needs of assemblers.
Raijintek ERMIS, performance and small format
This new series of power supplies is focused on those users who want to mount a compact equipment without much pretension. The brand new Raijintek Ermis range initially introduces 450 W and 550 W variants to the market . These models have the 80 Plus Bronze certificate , which guarantees an energy efficiency of between 82 and 85%.
This Ermis series includes an ultra – quiet 80 mm diameter fan , which also has automatic control of the rotation speed , admitting the Intel C6 / C7 states . Therefore, it only activates when the predefined load level is reached, providing a less noisy operation of the equipment until that moment.
More details of the sources
Note that these references have a single rail design with an output of 41 A / 492 W for the 550 W model and 37 A / 444 W for the 450 W variant . They are direct connect products, so much less versatile than modular designs. The sources have flat-type cables in black color. The connections they offer are: an ATX 20 + 4 ; an EPS 4 + 4 ; two PCI-E 6 + 2 ; three SATA ; and two Molex .
Of course, the usual protection systems against overloads ( OPP ), overvoltages ( OVP ) and short circuits ( SCP ) are not lacking . The MTBF value is 100,000 hours , the manufacturer covering the product with a three-year warranty .
