SilverStone FARA 311, compact tower with tremendous airflow
From SilverStone headquarters comes the news of the launch of its new chassis in Micro-ATX format with reference FARA 311 . A small box that prioritizes the cooling system.
Product characteristics
The proposal presents us with a 3.48 kg chassis with measurements of 360 x 183 x 410 mm and a capacity of 27.01 liters . It is a reference that draws attention due to the inclusion in the front of the extinct 5.25″ external bay . The case is made of SECC steel with some plastic elements . It sports a very sober design with a mesh front , metal mesh , which favors the entry of air from the outside.

Inside we can mount a motherboard in Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX format . The bodybuilder has a 3.5″/2.5″ bay; one 3.5″ and one 2.5″. Note that the 5.25″ bay is convertible to 3.5″/2.5″. Computer configuration supports CPU cooler up to 156mm in height; graphics card up to 354mm in length; and power supply up to 140 mm deep in ATX format .

The installer will be able to provide a cooling system made up of up to two 140/120 mm fans in the front part , plus one 120 mm already included in the rear part . Of course, it admits an advanced liquid system, in which case there is room for a 240mm front radiator , and a 120mm rear .
In the tower we have four PCI slots ; and a handy front I/O panel that gives us access to a pair of USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports , plus headphone and microphone jacks . In addition, it has holes for complete cable management and leaves the installation clean and improved in favor of air circulation.
