If you are teleworking or if, for any other reason, you spend many hours in front of the computer, I have to give you some advice: it is worth investing in all the devices and equipment you use. And I’m not just talking about having a comfortable chair that takes care of our back, or a computer that is up to all the hours of use that we are going to give it. Going one step further, the truth is that any other peripheral that we use can make the difference between a pleasant workday or an ordeal. Does it seem exaggerated? Try a “quarrelsome” mouse, of the ten or twenty euros, and then try this Logitech MX Master 3. You don’t want to go back.
Design of the Logitech MX Master 3
This is precisely what happened to me and where my story with the Logitech MX Master 3 begins, a story that I want to share with you. I came from a Logitech M590, a model of about 40 euros that was not bad: silent, pleasant to the touch, tiny (mobility prevailed over comfort) and the quality of Logi, a brand that I especially like for peripheral issues. But on one of my trips my mouse fell out of my backpack between the sofa cushions and I didn’t realize it until I got to the destination and, oh surprise, I don’t have a mouse. Luckily, they loaned me one, specifically a Logitech MX Master 3, a model that did not attract my attention due to its size, and the surprise was twofold when I discovered how incredibly comfortable it is. So much so, that this is the second unit of this mouse that has passed through my hands, after having to return the one they loaned me, and I had no hesitation in choosing this MX Master 3.
As I was saying, it is a somewhat generously sized mouse, but it is the most comfortable you will find. It weighs about 140 grams and has dimensions of 51mm x 84.3mm x 124.9mm. Has a design ergonomic which perfectly adapts to the size of your hand. The part of the index fingers to the little finger is slightly inclined to the right so that the hand rests comfortably, while the thumb rests on a small projection on the left, so that it is not resting on the table or in the air.
In the part of the thumb it has two back and forward buttons, one gesture button Y a configurable wheel button. At the top, for the index and middle fingers, you have the two usual buttons, the classic scroll wheel, in fairly silent machined steel, and a selector button to choose the type of scrolling you want for the wheel, more mechanized or more. fluid. At the bottom you will find the on / off button, the optical viewfinder, and three numbers, next to a button. By pressing this button you can change the number. What does this mean? That you can have up to three devices paired simultaneously to the mouse and switch between one and the other in a way as simple as pressing this button. Also this lower part, but on an external part, is the USB-C charging port. The place chosen for its placement seems great to me, since it allows you to charge it while you use it without the cable bothering you.
It is only available in two colors, dark gray or black with gray.
And using it daily, what does this mouse offer?
It is the most advanced mouse in the Master series at the time of writing this article and it shows that it is focused on those types of users who are looking for something more premium. It is ideal for designers, although any user with intensive use will value it, as is my case.
Highlights, for example, MagSpeed electromagnetic displacement, which allows you to scroll at a speed of 1,000 lines per second, but also gives the precision you need. This scrolling is quite silent, but the “click” of the buttons of the index and middle fingers is not, for my taste it is quite noisy. This is the only thing I miss about my old Logitech M590.
A very interesting detail is that you can customize it with practically any app. That is, if you use Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Chrome, Excel, or any other app a lot, you can save predefined customizations to configure each action of your work. By having such a variety of buttons, you have many possibilities to get the mouse to work exactly the way it suits you best. You can customize all this from the desktop application Logitech Options, which I recommend you always have installed to get the most out of your mouse. Also from this application you can be alert of the battery status.
I show you a screenshot so you can see how I have personalized it.
Another option that I find super interesting is that, thanks to the function Flow and its ability to pair between multiple devices, you can, for example, copy text on a laptop and paste it on a desktop. It works with Linux, Mac and Windows.
As for the battery life, it is giving me a duration of about 40-60 days with each charge (with intensive use, approximately twelve hours a day from Monday to Friday) and has a fast charging system that gives you three extra hours of autonomy with just one minute of recharging. Use, as I have already mentioned, a USB-C port.
Finally, highlight its technology Logitech Darkfield Tracking allows you to use it on almost any surface, even glass, with an accuracy of up to 4,000 dpi.

Availability and price of the Logitech MX Master 3
In short, it is a mouse that I recommend with your eyes closed if you are looking for that extra quality, comfort and customization. Is possibly the best mouse in value for money And if you use it for many hours a day, the investment is well worth it.
